Sleep Help For Menopause

Do you need sleep help? Getting more sleep sounds easy, unless you’re a woman going through menopause. Sleepless nights are a huge concern for many women because of the effect it has on them during the day.

Not getting enough sleep effects your concentration, focus, mood and general well- being. There are sleeping aids your doctor can prescribe and some over-the-counter products. These treatments may help temporarily but they can be habit-forming so you need to be careful.

Besides medication, keeping a regular bedtime and using the bedroom only for sleeping is a helpful suggestion. Keep the room dark and make it as inviting as possible. Any type of exercise should be done a couple of hours before bedtime in order to give you enough time to wind down. Relax and try setting up some nighttime routine in order for letting your brain know it’s time for bed.
