A friend recently suggested a book to help keep me motivated and on track. Unsolicited advice, but apparently I needed it. That book, If Not Now, When? by Stephanie Marston, is a few years old, but still relevant for any woman approaching or experiencing midlife.
Doesn’t it seem that we so easily get caught up in the laundry, grocery shopping, or car pools that we forget we have talents or passions? Where is that creative spark? I’ll bet there’s an artist or writer or painter within you looking for an outlet.
Paying it forward, my advice to you is to take baby steps. Do something today to get you to the next step. Research your idea, talk to someone who has the same interest, or take a class. The worst thing you can do is sit there. Take action.
It’s all right there in the title of the book. If not now, when?
Thanks, Stephanie.
